holidays are behind us...now what?
The holidays have come and gone and now...it's back to the real world...at least for me it is. We received word today that schools are cancelled here due to the weather. That means, the girls are all out of school and hanging out with Daddy for the rest of the week. But for me, work goes on. :) Yay! No really, I'm blessed to have a job so I'm not complaining.
We took MacKenzie to get her new cast put on today. Unfortunately it took forever and I had not eaten so I got just a wee bit light headed by the time I finally made it back to work. Check out a pic of her new cast in my 365 Blog. Of course we got it in pink and black to match her b-day outfit. Yes she's turning 9...but yes she will continue to get a "birthday outfit".

happy new year from the toliver family
2009 has gone bye bye and it's 2010. I can hardly believe it. I mean really...it was JUST 2000! Mackie says "That means you were just in college and I was "just" not born". I'm like "Right"...LOL...ok...so maybe not 2000, but not a day past 2006.
2009 brought significant changes for our family. We are all still adjusting, but I know we'll get there!!!
In 2010, I hope to commit to the following "RESOLUTIONS".
1) Spend more quiet time with God
2) Spend more one on one time with KT
3) Spend more one on one time with MacKenzie...the girl is almost 9. The
years are escaping me and my girl is going to be going off to college in
no time! I want to make the most of the time we have together.
4) Spend more time with the twins (one on one...getting to know them better
as individuals). They too are growing so fast and are nearing 1. That
just blows my mind. They are both just so cute and sweet...so DIFFERENT
and I want to make sure I get to know them that way...as the two
individuals they are.
So yeah right away...I see I need more TIME... I need to commit to better time management
5) Eat better and/or Work out...again need more TIME for this. I'm going to
lump these two together, b/c if I'm able to do either one of these,
count me as "PROUD of myself!".
That's it...I don't want exhaustive list. Yeah there is more that I could and probably need to do...but I want to focus on my "core" this year.
Happy New Year.

Christmas EVE????? Say What?
I can't believe it's already Christmas Eve...well that's it just about over. The time came so fast! I haven't wrapped a single gift for anyone. My how things have changed. Unfortunately a nasty snow storm came to town and the girls are here at home instead of at the Thompson's where we (MacKenzie and I) normally spend Christmas Eve. First time for everything. I hate I didn't plan anything though...the girls are finally in bed and MacKenzie and I are going to watch College Road Trip, eat popcorn, and wrap gifts...I'm tired already!

Hip! Hip!
Yay! KT setup our new computer today! I'm so excited...yes I should be either sleeping or working right now...but no...I'm playing! Also...I hung out with my girlfriends today. It was nice to get some girl time in. We had a Potluck Christmas Dinner and Gift Exchange at Brandy's. I scored a really nice crock pot. I'm excited to use it. I'd really in my heart like to cook more.
The girls and I went to my sister's church today. They did so well during the service. I have such good girls!

Glutton for Punishment
I'm tired. I've had two incredibly long weekends and I'm nothing short of exhausted, but why I am not in the bed at 12:23 a.m.? I'm wasting time...Lord help me. I must I must do better. Me and the twins have spent the last two weekends in Dallas. Weekend before last we were there visiting our Dallas family for Thanksgiving. KT and I even did a little Black Friday shopping. The girls did great on the road. Will post pics soon. This past weekend, Regina turned 30...yep dirty30. The girls and I as well as Brandy flew down to see her...good times...but I'm exhausted...

WISH LIST WEDNESDAY - clothes

THINGS THAT I WISH I HAD FOR ME, MY HUBBY, AND MY GIRLS...I haven't been shopping in a while...if $$ was no object here are are a few things I dig.
FOR ME:
Miss Me Jean Deep Dark Wide Pick Stitch Boot Cut
$98.00
I tried these on at Dillards and really liked them!

FOR KT:
Heritage top-stitching cargo shirt - Banana Republic
$79.50
KT doesn't do button ups very often. I like that this one is casual, plus I think the color would look good on his skin.
FOR Nia and Nala
This adorable "Winter Bloom" outfit from The Gap. The cost of twins!!! If I were to buy it for both girls it would cost me a wopping $200 bucks for all as pictured!
FOR MacKenzie
This cute "City Sophisticate" outfit from The Gap. Over $200...not happening...but i do love the coat and want to get her some skinny jeans...we'll see.
Some day....
OK...I HAVE A PROBLEM...IT'S BEEN ANOTHER YEAR!
